Officials for the city of Lisbon are asking people to continue to boil water during repairs to the village’s water lines. People also are being asked to conserve water. Authorities have not said when the repairs to the broken water lines will be completed. The city’s water ran out Friday night.
House destroyed
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Fire Department is investigating a blaze that destroyed a house at 764 Fairfax St. at 12:32 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters arrived to see the two-story house fully on fire. The structure was allowed to burn as a safety measure. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Loss was estimated at $5,000. A woman’s name was listed in the report, but it was not clear if she was the owner or a renter.
Brownlee Woods monthly meeting

Dana Lantz from the Youngstown Prosecutor’s office is the speaker for the Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association monthly meeting Tuesday.
Refreshments and social time is at 6 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road.
City Councilman John R. Swierz, D-7th, also will attend to give an update. Members are reminded to bring a friend or neighbor to the meeting, which is open to the public.
