Family honors Mr., Mrs. Staaf for anniversary

BOARDMAN

A family dinner recently honored Mrs. and Mrs. William Staaf Jr. of Boardman for their 60th wedding anniversary.

The celebration took place at the home of the couple’s son-in-law and daughter, Paul and Cindy Lasky of Canfield. A son, William III, also lives in Canfield.

Paul Staaf and the former Shirley Skinner were married Sept. 23, 1950, at the Boardman United Methodist Church. Both attended Youngstown College.

Mr. Staaf retired in 1989 after working for A.F. Beil Electric for 32 years. He served in Okinawa in World War II.

Mrs. Staaf worked for G.M. McKelvey department store and Mahoning National Bank. She is a member of the original Tappin’ Juliettes and the Youngstown-Salem 600 Bowling Club.
