Canfield bands will entertain at pasta dinner and auction

CANFIELD

Eight bands from Canfield Schools will perform at the 41st annual Canfield Band Parents Pasta Dinner and Chinese Auction, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Canfield High School Cafeteria.

The complete meal, besides pasta, includes meatballs or sausage, salad, bread and butter, a beverage and dessert. Regular portions are $7, small portions are $5.

The event is a fundraiser for the bands.

The auction will feature jewelry, sports memorabilia, designer clothing and purses, gift cards, toys, family fun items and more. Among the specific items secured so far:

Free People brand clothes

Urban Outfitters basket

Lucky brand clothes and jewelry

iPod Nano

Hines Ward photo

Ohio state print

Four Scrappers tickets

The auction will close at 4:45 p.m., and winners will be announced around 5:15 p.m. Winners need not be present.
