Men’s garden club offers scholarships

YOUNGSTOWN

For the 20th year, the Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown is offering scholarships to students planning to further their education in the fields of ornamental horticulture, landscape design or allied subjects.

Full-time students enrolled in post-secondary programs are encouraged to apply. Applicants must live in or have attended high school in Mahoning, Stark, Portage or Trumbull counties in Ohio or in Mercer or Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania.

Students may attend any accredited college or university in the United States. Awards range from $500 to $1,500. The application deadline is March 1.
