Melinda Lee Swick of Cleveland and Zack Hallock of Mayfield Heights exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. June 26 ceremony at Zion Lutheran Church officiated by the Rev. Rob Henderson. A reception followed at The Lake Club in Poland, and the couple reside in Cleveland.
The bride, daughter of Gary and Sue Swick of Canfield, is a kindergarten teacher for Kirtland Local Schools in Kirtland, Ohio. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education, graduating magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University.
The groom, son of Bill and Arlene Hallock of Westlake, works as a product engineer for Loveman Steel in Bedford Heights, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
The bride’s gown was fashioned from alabaster satin and featured beaded embellishments with Swarovsi crystals.
Wearing deep purple gowns were the matron of honor, Kelly Tran, twin sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Kathleen Steele, Kelli Ashline, Danielle Kepics, Nicole Rizzo, and Whitney Hallock, the groom’s sister.
Best man was Kevin Wensink, and groomsmen were Tom Danzey; Ben Tran, the bride’s brother-in-law; J.C. Berrios and John Peterson, cousins of the groom; and Alex Swick, brother of the bride.
