Two plead guilty in South Side home burglary
YOUNGSTOWN — Two people involved in a burglary have entered a plea agreement that may place them on probation for an undetermined time.
Tyrone Gregory, 32, of West LaClede Avenue, and Rafaelle Daye, 38, of North Evanston Avenue, pleaded guilty earlier this week to a fourth-degree felony burglary charge before Judge Lou D’Apolito of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
The pair originally had been indicted on a charge of second-degree burglary, but that charge was amended in exchange for their guilty pleas.
The second-degree felony charge could have carried a prison term of anywhere between two and eight years. The fourth-degree felony charge could carry a prison term of anywhere from six to 18 months in prison.
Prosecutors, in light of the plea agreement, have agreed to recommend probation.
Judge D’Apolito will sentence Daye and Gregory at a later date.
