Thrill or No Thrill fundraiser to be based on hit TV show

Pizza Joe’s and the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley are presenting a Thrill or No Thrill fundraising event based on the hit TV show “Deal or No Deal.”

The event will take place Feb. 23 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel, where doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The 200 individuals from the community who purchase $50 tickets will be the contestants for the night. Each will have the opportunity to open a prize-filled case, and two will win grand prizes of $1,000.

Other prizes include two round-trip tickets to Myrtle Beach courtesy of Allegiant Air, a GPS, a Blu-Ray player, a Flip Video Camera, L’uva Bella wine baskets and personal wine tastes, a Fab Limo package for 10 people, electronic items and a variety of gift baskets and gift cards. All the cases have a value of $25 or more.

The evening will include music, pizza, wings, beer and pop. Pizza Joe will be the master of ceremonies.
