Parenting support group series set

NEW CASTLE, PA.

A parenting support group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. each Wednesday from Feb. 16 through April 20 at the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County, 1218 W. State St.

Light refreshments will be served, and child care can be requested. Such issues as setting rules and boundaries, family rituals, understanding child behaviors, problem solving, communication and how violence may affect child development will be discussed.

In order to receive a certificate each person must complete all 10 sessions. Registration is required and can be made by calling Carol Cowan-Crawford at 724-652-9206, ext. 127.
