Lisbon without water tonight

LISBON

Dispatcher Ray Harr of the Lisbon Police Department said the village is without water tonight.

The first call from a village resident came in at 9:28 p.m. Harr said both police and the fire department had been searched for the water break, which was found around 10:17 p.m.

The break had drained all the water from both of the village’s water towers, he said.

Harr said the break could have resulted from the ground beginning to thaw.
