Medicare consumers who are dissatisfied with their Medicare private health plans, also known as “Medicare Advantage” plans, have until Monday to dis-enroll. Consumers can drop their private plan and enroll in Original Medicare.
After Monday, most people with Medicare will be unable to make another change to their health coverage until the fall open enrollment period which begins Oct. 15.
Health screenings

The Visiting Nurse Association, 518 E. Indianola Ave., is from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday offering free health screenings. They include blood draws for cholesterol and lipids, for which people must fast for 10 to 2 hours, and blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, general health and mental health, and medication reviews for those who bring medications. Also this month, “Get REAL — Be Sensible — Be Heart Smart!” and flu shots are available.

Yoga classes
WARREN
A seven-session beginning yoga class for adults only is offered from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays from Feb. 28 through April 18 at St. Joseph Health Center, 667 Eastland Ave. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or blanket and a small pillow.
The cost is $58 for the general public and $44 for Humility of Mary Health Partners employees. Help Hotline Crisis Center, Inc. received a $500 donation from The Bernard & Elaine Soss Family Charitable Trust of the Youngstown Foundation for operation of the suicide hot line. Help Hotline’s suicide prevention number is 330-747-2696.
Coat distribution

The Button-Up Campaign, sponsored by Help Hotline Crisis Center Inc., LaFrance Dry Cleaners, WYTV-33 and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 396, distributed 1,800 coats to local nonprofit organizations in the Mahoning Valley, 400 of which were provided to military veterans.
