Boy Scout breakfast to mark milestones
CANFIELD
Boy Scout Troop 25 will observe the 101st anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America and its own 85th anniversary during a breakfast on Sunday.
The breakfast will take place from 7:30 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. The menu follows: pancakes and sausage, toast, orange juice, and milk or coffee. A donation is requested.
The members of Troop 25 will also participate in the Scout Sunday services at the church for the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. services, with the Rev. Dan Wolboldt delivering the message. The Rev. Mr. Wolboldt is an Eagle Scout of Troop 25 and a retired U.S. Army chaplain. Troop 25 meets at 7 p.m. every Wednesday in the basement of the church.
