Tennessee Williams’ “The Rose Tattoo,SDRq directed by Lester Malizia. New Castle Playhouse Annex Theatre, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday for seven Italian-American women age 30s to 40s; one blond woman age 30-35; two women in early 20s; one singer/guitarist with knowledge of Italian folks songs; one girl, age 16-20; four men, age 25-40; one man, age 20-30 and one man, age 17-25. “Jesus Christ Superstar,SDRq Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem. The production will be directed by Michael Dempsey, with musical direction by Anthony Ruggiero and choreography by Sarah Durham. Open auditions will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute vocal selection and provide sheet music in their key. Wear suitable clothing for moving and dancing.
