Former YSU assistant softball coach gets probation, community service
YOUNGSTOWN — A former Youngstown State University assistant softball coach will spend the next three years on probation and warning young people about the dangers of prescription drug use.
Gina L. Rango, 26, of Woodworth Road, North Lima, was arrested at her residence by the Mahoning Valley Drug Task Force in May. She originally pleaded innocent in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to four counts of Oxycodone trafficking.
Rango ultimately pleaded guilty to four felony-four counts of trafficking in drugs. She appeared before Judge James C. Evans of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today for sentencing.
