The Oct. 9 wedding of Yvette Maria Laboy and Joseph Zemko took place at the Kidston Pavilion in the Rose Garden at Mill Creek Park.

Judge Elizabeth A. Kobly officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Richard Laboy and Yolanda Serrano, both of Youngstown, and the son of Joseph and Janet Zemko of Austintown.

The couple welcomed guests during a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.

Aubergine-colored gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, LeAnne Cromer; Kristy Laboy, the bride’s cousin; Meagen Fraser; Stacey Novak; and Amy Deutschlander. Flower girl was Kinley Novak.

Jonathan Zemko served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Richard Laboy Jr., the bride’s brother; Josh Cromer; Richard Huebel; Noel Figeora; Kurt Lemke; Jay Patterson; and Timothy Hahn, the groom’s cousin. Ring bearer was Caleb Cruz, the groom’s son.

The bride and groom attended Youngstown State University. She is employed at the Blood and Cancer Center in Canfield, and he is a photographer with Artistic Images.
