Marcus Morris had 22 points and reserve Mario Little added 17, sparking a second-half charge for Kansas. Markieff Morris added 16 points for the Jayhawks (23-1, 8-1 Big 12), who beat their archrivals at home for the 12th straight time. Missouri (18-6, 4-5) dropped to 0-5 in conference road games and 14-41 all time in Allen Fieldhouse.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.

Nasir Robinson scored 15 points and Pittsburgh overcame an awful start to beat West Virginia. The Panthers (22-2, 10-1 Big East) got a balanced attack without leading scorer Ashton Gibbs, who is out up to two weeks with a left knee injury. Gary McGhee had 13 points, Travon Woodall added 12 and Brad Wanamaker scored 11 for the Panthers.

Detroit 81, Cleveland State 78.

DETROIT

Nick Minnerath scored a career-high 26 points and Eli Holman had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Detroit. Minnerath made 10 of 14 shots and Chris Blake scored 13 points, including a pair of free throws in the final second for the Titans (14-12, 8-6 Horizon), who have won three in a row. Holman, who had his 11th double-double of the season, blocked Norris Cole’s 3-point attempt as time ran out. Cole led Cleveland State (21-5, 10-4) with 27 points.

Butler 72, Ill.-Chicago 65

INDIANAPOLIS

Shelvin Mack scored 17 points and Butler beat Illinois-Chicago for the ninth straight timet. Khyle Marshall added 11 points, and Zach Hahn and Ronald Nored each had 10 for the Bulldogs (16-9, 8-5 Horizon).
