Warren YWCA sets leadership board meeting in Youngstown
The YWCA of Warren will be hosting a meeting for its’ Young Women’s Leadership Board at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the The Lemon Grove Cafe, 122 Federal Plaza West in Youngstown.
The Young Women’s Leadership Board was created in the Fall of 2010 with the purpose of supporting the YWCA Warren and its mission to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The Board is chaired by Melissa Papini, YWCA Warren Program Manager.
The YWCA is looking for young women, age 22-40, who come from diverse backgrounds and live in Trumbull County. The young women will help institute the board of directors vision to become a vibrant community resource and education center, information clearinghouse, and gathering place for the community and will strive to enrich the lives of women and girls and their families in Trumbull County by offering outstanding programs and services that will empower women an eliminate racism thereby strengthening the community at large.
The Young Women’s Leadership Board will assist in strengthening the YWCA Warren’s programs and services, community collaboration and fundraising efforts. Comes and see what our upcoming Stiletto event is all about!
