Trumbull sheriff issues warning to senior citizens

The Trumbull County Senior Services Unit of the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office is warning seniors to beware of a fraudulent phone call that a Warren man received last week.

The caller said he was taking a poll on health care and said he was being paid by the senior services unit. He asked for personal information.

But the Trumbull County’s Senior Services Unit is not conducting a poll, said Nicole Agani, and anyone receiving such a phone call should hang up and call Agani at 330-675-7096, Agani said.
