Concert for kids at Jewish center

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, will present a concert for children by Hey Kid! at 2 p.m. Feb. 27 in the multipurpose room.

Admission is $5 ($2 for children 12 and under). Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life. Call 330-746-3251.

The group plays songs that strike the imagination of kids, with titles such as “Pirate the Pirate” and “The Bubblegumball Kid.” Temporary tattoos and face painting will be available.

Fest seeks artisans for summer event

MANTUA

Artisans are being sought for the annual Art on the Hill event, which will be July 9 in downtown Mantua.

Booths are $45 for the daylong art festival on Prospect Street. Applications are available online at mantuashalersvillechamber.com or by calling 330-414-6486.

More than 60 artisans took part last year. The event includes live entertainment, a basket auction and food vendors.
