Patrons will get Just Desserts for helping to keep some safe

Someplace Safe Inc., Trumbull County’s only domestic violence agency, will host its eighth annual Just Desserts Fundraiser on Friday at Leo’s Ristorante. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and festivities begin at 6.

Jim LoBoy and Peggy Sinkovich from WYTV-33 will be the guest hosts for the evening.

Take II will entertain, and there will be a live auction, silent auction and a basket raffle.

Auction service will be provided by Auctions by Ulrich. Patrons will also have the opportunity to have a photo taken by Michael’s studio.

Dessert samples will be provided by this year’s vendors: Carrie’s Cookies, Chocolate Lady, Coldstone Creamery, Cookies To Go, Joanna’s Greek Treats, JD’s Post House, Just Pizzelles, Karamels, PMG Chocolatier, Starbucks Coffee, The Cake Boutique and Wine Styles.

The sponsors for the fundraiser are First Place Bank, Humility of Mary Health Partners, The Raymond John Wean Foundation, Paige & Byrnes, Franklin Pharmacy and Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Someplace Safe is a private nonprofit agency in Warren that provides 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence and their dependent children.
