Nakiya Kirton, Timothy Averhart to wed in April

Announced by their parents, Reginald and Sandra Kirton of New Orleans and Louis and Brenda Averhart of Youngstown, are the April wedding plans of Nakiya Kirton and Timothy Jordan Averhart, both of Cincinnati.

Invitations will be issued for the ceremony in New Orleans.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a degree in fashion design and marketing. She is employed as director of community relations and marketing for Cincinnati Works.

The future groom graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by G.E. Aircraft of Cincinnati.
