Mission team raising funds for trip

Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church is set to host a spaghetti dinner Feb. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. to raise funds to provide clean water in Togo, West Africa.

A team of adults and youth will travel to Gbentchal, Togo, in July to build a well, provide the village with sanitation and hold Bible camps for children.

The 11 team members are Dan Osborn, youth director at Tabernacle EPC; Brad Walker, Dr. Steve Swain, Robert Cahalin, Greg Mook, YSU University Scholar graduate; Tim O’Brien, Beth Valantine, Dan and Sarah Kidd, Jillian Smith, Canfield High School senior; and Jon Michael Valantine, Austintown Fitch High School senior.

A donation will be requested from those attending the dinner and take-out will be provided upon request. Tabernacle EPC is located at 2432 S. Raccoon Road in Austintown. For information, contact Beth Valantine at 330-881-0235.
