Lark’s Amazing Race scheduled in New Castle

Lark Enterprises will have the first Lark’s Amazing Race May 7.

Teams of two will compete physically and mentally in a race throughout Lawrence County, Lark said.

Each team must raise a minimum of $150 to enter, but the more funds a team raises, the more advantages it will have on race day.

Lark provides vocational evaluations, training and employment services for people with disabilities. All race proceeds will help defray the costs of their clients’ transportation.

The race will start and end at Cascade Park. Secret locations throughout the county will be “destination sites.” The sites will feature physical and mental tasks each team must complete before receiving its next clue.
