Staff report

Howland

Police are searching for the man who robbed a township pharmacy Thursday evening.

A dispatcher from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department said Howland police received a call about 6:30 p.m. that the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 2154 Elm Road had been robbed.

A female employee told police that a man entered the store with a handgun. The dispatcher said the suspect fled on foot, though it’s unclear how much money or merchandise he got away with.

Warren police were called to assist with their canine unit, but the suspect remained at large at press time.
