McDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1955 will meet for its monthly breakfast at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ Restaurant, South Avenue, in the Mathews Road Plaza, Boardman. Contact Jim Graycar at 330-747-0632.

Chaney High School January and June classes of 1948 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Molly’s on Salt Springs Road, Youngstown. All alumni are invited to attend.

Woodrow Wilson High School classes of January and June 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are welcome.

CLUBS

College Club of Sharon will honor past presidents at its 10 a.m. meeting Feb. 12 at First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, Pa. Club members who have belonged 50 years as of this year also will be honored. Dr. Agnes Martinko, will be the speaker. Her topic, “Individuality,” is the result of a lifelong study of the factors that shape individual lives.

Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association Scanner Club will have its fourth annual winter scan on Feb. 12 at Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish for the 7 p.m. potluck dinner. Anyone interested in scanner monitoring or amateur radio as a hobby is welcome. Take programmable or crystal scanners, working or nonworking, for a display.

Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table’s meeting will feature Beth Gray and Robb Hyde performing Music of the Underground Railroad at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield. Members will review the Friendship coverlet project. Take a coverlet from 1990 or any photos, written directions or other information to aid the assembly of the project. The transparency will be put together. Further discussion on the April Doubleweave Workshop is scheduled, and Liz Adraso will talk about the presidents challenge. Take a sack lunch, mug and show-and-tell item. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of Boardman Library will meet Feb. 14 at the library. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. and a program at 10 will be on the topic “Hearing Mozart in the 18th Century.” A business session will follow. Guests are welcome.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Junior Seton Circle will meet at noon Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The program will be “Remembering Idora Park” by Richard Scarsella. Hostesses will be chairman Ginny Pugh, Betty Kravec, Donna Johns and Helen Zynski.

Girard K. of C. Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St., for a wine taste-off. Members are to take their homemade wines to be sampled. Each may take one guest.

Mothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Elizabeth Mirone will preside, and plans will be made for a card party on March 27. The serving committee will be Judy Thomas and Ann Rega.

Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.

St. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the church for the rosary and at 7:30 at the parish center for a game night. Hostesses will be Marilyn Fisher and Mary Ann Silvestri. Guests are welcome.

Alzheimer’s Network Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. H.O.P.E. Support Group for cancer patients will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Cedar Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 McClurg Road, Boardman. There will be free health assessments and blood-pressure screenings.
