Ashley Ruperto became the bride of Preston Hernandez in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 16 at First United Methodist Church of Girard.

The Rev. Betsy Schenk officiated over the vows for the daughter of Kathleen and Daniel Bradaick of Beaver, Pa., and the son of Terri and Robert Hernandez of Mineral Ridge.

The bride wore a strapless satin and tulle asymmetrical gown with a pleated, beaded bodice. The pickup skirting featured beaded metallic embroidered lace and flowed into a chapel train adorned with beaded appliqu s.

Wearing apple red gowns were the maid of honor, Candace Shreve, and the bridesmaids, Julie Rush; Victoria Pietruszka, a cousin of the groom; and Laura Hernandez, sister-in-law of the groom. Presley Amos, a cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

The groom’s brother Steven Hernandez was his best man. Groomsmen were Jake Ruperto, a brother of the bride; and Zachary Pietruszka and Tony Roth, cousins of the groom.

The bride attends college in Pittsburgh, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early education.

The groom graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in science. He works for Thru Tubing Solutions in Pittsburgh. He achieved the rank of lance corporal while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Pittsburgh.
