Police: Man sexually assault disabled girl, 12

SPRING GROVE, Pa. (AP) — Police have arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a 12-year-old mentally handicapped girl inside her home.

Southwestern Regional Police say 35-year-old Joshua Moran was arrested Sunday after the girl’s mother called police on Sunday. Authorities say the assault happened inside the girl’s home in Spring Grove, York County.

Moran is being held on $75,000 bail on charges including indecent assault and unlawful contact with a minor. It was not clear if he had an attorney.

Police say the girl was treated and released from a hospital. The investigation is continuing.
