Authorities investigating Howland robbery

HOWLAND — Police are searching for the man who robbed a township pharmacy this evening.

A dispatcher from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office said Howland Police received a call at about 6:30 p.m. the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 2154 Elm Road had been robbed.

A female employee told police that a man entered the store with a handgun. The dispatcher said the suspect fled on foot, though it’s unclear how much money or merchandise he took.

Warren police were called to assist with their canine unit, but the suspect remained at large at press time.
