Youngstown schools restores pr post, hires director

The city school board has hired a director of communications and outreach.

Karen W. Ingraham, who formerly worked as communications director in the Akron schools, was hired by the board. She will earn $68,226 annually.

It’s a new position for the city schools. The communications-director position was cut a few years ago as part of budget reductions.
