Two men enter guilty pleas related to drive-by shooting of girl last year
YOUNGSTOWN — Two men pleaded guilty to charges related to the drive-by shooting of a 7-year-old girl on the city’s North Side last year.
Alfonda Madison, 23, and Asa Bush, 22, who both listed Dearborn Avenue addresses, had both been indicted on four counts of felonious assault with gun specifications. Both men entered into plea agreements with Mahoning County prosecutors late last week and each pleaded guilty to one count of felonious assault. The remaining three counts were dropped against both men.
A gun specification against Bush was not dropped in the plea agreement, however.
Both men also pleaded guilty to felony obstructing official business in a separate case.
