Ribbon-cutting set for fitness dealer

A ceremonial ribbon- cutting for a new Health and Fitness Equipment Center, 813 Boardman-Poland Road, is at 11 a.m. Friday. It is one of six stores in Northeast Ohio.

As a specialty fitness dealer, Health and Fitness Equipment Centers design and lay out home exercise rooms and supply and service government facilities, professional sports teams, corporations, recreation centers, clubs, apartments and hotels, said owner Steve Sova.

The staff assists customers by searching the entire industry to bring state-of-the-art fitness concepts to their showrooms. Also, an incentive program helps clients maintain focus on achieving their goals, Sova added.
