A summary of recent criminal activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD
Jan. 24
Stolen wallet: A male juvenile student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, told police his wallet was left in his locker and is missing.
Jan. 25
Warrant: Police arrested Kenneth Kinback, 38, of Canton on a warrant for failure to appear in mayor’s court on a falsification charge.
Jan. 26
Fraudulent credit card: Professional Engines System, 495 W. Main St., reported that an order that had been paid for by credit card was later found to be fraudulent use of the card. Initially the $2,274 paid to the company by credit card was withdrawn from the company’s bank account, but the credit card company later reimbursed the company. The company has not been able to contact the original purchaser out of Miamisburg.
Jan. 30
Drug abuse: Police arrested Joseph Carothers, 20, of 405 Glenwoods Court, Boardman on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding small amounts of suspected marijuana, rolling papers and a ceramic cigarette with suspected marijuana residue.
AUSTINTOWN
Jan. 24
Aggravated burglary: Two juveniles were arrested for a burglary at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Jessica Straight, 22, of Rootstown was arrested in the theft of $18.75 in merchandise at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal trespassing: MyLindsie Allison, 21, of 937 Maple Ave., Boardman, was arrested for trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Assault: A woman was assaulted by her boyfriend at a home in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed on a vehicle at Rumors Lounge, 104 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal damaging: A 14-inch car tire was punctured in the driveway of a home in the 3000 block of Artmar Drive.
Theft: An apartment was burglarized in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.
Auto theft: A 2000 Expedition was stolen from the parking lot in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.
Criminal trespassing: Justin Barnett, 22, of Cuyahoga Falls was arrested for criminal trespassing at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: 260 sample patches valued at $1,300 were stolen from a pharmaceutical company representative at Little Joe’s Car Wash, 1105 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Drug offense: Police arrested Justin Popp, 18, of Canfield for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue.
Warrant: Charity Brady, 23, of 153 E. Avondale Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for menacing.
Drug offense: Reginald Bullard, 43, of 2951 Draper St., Warren was arrested on drug charges including possession of dangerous drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana at state Route 46 and Lou Ida Boulevard.
Theft: Tera Tuchek, 20, of 42 Atlanta Ave., was arrested for theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., $34.03 in hair care and facial products.
Auto theft: A 2000 Lincoln Town Car was stolen from the parking lot of Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.
Jan. 26
Identity fraud: A resident in the 5000 block of Stanford Avenue reported identity fraud.
Forgery: Four checks were forged with the victim’s signature at a home in the 5000 block of Stanford Avenue.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Jan. 27
Attempted breaking and entering: Access was attempted at Jack Pot Fever, 4763 Mahoning Ave.
Bad checks: Four bad checks were passed at Advance Check Cashing, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Items were taken from a safety deposit box at Huntington Bank, 6010 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Frankie Lockett, 19, of 1010 Compass West was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespassing at Compass West.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 50 block of South Meridian Road.
Domestic violence: John Carwhile Jr., 23, no address listed, was arrested on a domestic-violence charge in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: Frank Crone, of 32, 4200 Pembrook Road, Apt. 6, Austintown, was arrested in the theft of $73.88 of meat and possession of drug abuse instruments at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A man is a suspect for the criminal damaging of a vehicle with a broken windshield and wiper blade in the 1700 block of South Raccoon Road.
Jan. 28
Fraud: A fraudulent check was passed at Black Heart Tattoo, 5600 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $100 was stolen at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.
Burglary: An apartment was entered by a maintenance employee without authorization in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Fraud: Forged signatures on checks were reported by Paul Harris Restoration Group Insurance, 4249 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 400 block of Wilcox Road.
Criminal damaging: A key was used to damage a vehicle’s finish at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.
Jan. 29
Theft: Two men pulled a quick-change deception at the Cigarette Depot, 4720 Mahoning Ave., and stole $20.
Theft: A purse was left in a buggy and then taken at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Jan. 30
Warrant: Mikayla Torgerson, 20, of 61 S. Beverly Ave., was arrested on a warrant alleging theft at Kirk Road and South Raccoon Road.
Recovered property: A wallet was recovered and returned to its owner in the 2000 block of Aldrich Drive.
Auto theft/recovered property: A 1999 Acura was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle and later recovered by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle tire was cut at a home in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A pair of blue jeans and an iPod were stolen at Frank Ohl Elementary School, 255 Idaho Road.
Domestic violence: Gabriel Artis, 47, of 4483 Deer Creek Court was arrested on a domestic-violence charge at his home.
