Salon will exhibit work of local artists
HOWLAND
Local artists are invited to display their work at Salon Mingle, 8720 E. Market St., in Hunter Square Plaza. Art will be exhibited for a month, with sales proceeds going to the artist.
Submissions in a variety of media, including painting, photography, graphic/computer art, sculpture and ceramics will be accepted for consideration. Works must be tasteful and suitable for a space where kids are present.
To submit work, send three to five photographs of each piece of art in a JPEG file to mikennamcclurg@yahoo.com. On the message line, type “artist entry.” Include the name of the artist, a phone number, the size of the work and a couple of sentences stating what the work means to you. A different artist will be chosen every month.
