Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY
Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, will have takeout dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car.
Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will have takeout dinners of stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans and a brownie from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $7, and no reservations are needed. Drive through and pick up your meals.
FRIDAY
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, Lowellville, will have a carryout fish fry from noon to 7 p.m. Meals include ocean perch, fries and coleslaw, and the cost is $15.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles will sell regular, potato and spinach pizza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school annex, 381 Robbins Ave. Advance orders are being accepted at 330-652-2811 until noon Thursday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome from 1 to 4 p.m.
St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling 330-746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.
St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.
St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza and $5 for white pizza.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.
VFW Post 9571, Ellsworth Road, Ellsworth, will have an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Chicken fingers or shrimp also will be available. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $7 for seniors.
SATURDAY
First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will have a chicken pie supper from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. For reservations call 724-983-0200. Tickets also will be available at the door. Carryouts are available.
New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will serve roast beef dinners with a salad and dessert bar from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Meals are $9 for adults, $4 for children and free for those 5 and under.
Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW., Warren, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals of fish or meatloaf include potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and beverage. The cost is $9 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts will be available starting at 3:30 p.m.

Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department will host an all-you-can-eat pancake, egg and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire hall, 6034 S. Salem-Warren Road. Adult meals are $6, and meals for those 5 to 12 are $4. Children 4 and under eat free.
ITAM Veterans Post 3, 115 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will have a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread, cake and coffee or tea. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.75 for children. Takeouts are available.

Brookfield Township Fire Department will have a fifth annual wild game dinner Feb. 19 at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1800 state Route 7 NE, Brookfield. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 6. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. There will be a gun raffle, basket auction, hog and beef raffles and a flat-screen TV raffle.
