Crash knocks power out for 200 Campbell homes

An SUV slid on ice and hit a pole on Robinson Road at 5:40 p.m., knocking down power lines, police report.

Police said at 11:15 p.m. that the road was still closed from 15th Street to Mary Knoll Drive while Ohio Edison Crews cleared lines away.

Ohio Edison could not be reached.

A power outage was affecting 200 customers, according to WFMJ Channel 21, the Vindicator’s broadcast partner.
