Dec. 4

Drug offense: Richard Reid, 33, of 341 N. Yorkshire Blvd., was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Robert Holobaugh, 40, of 427 High Ave., Niles was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Dec. 5

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Robert Hollobaugh, 40, of 427 High Ave., Niles, for drug abuse of marijuana at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A black Sapient bicycle was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit $10 bills were passed at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Breaking and entering: Police charged Scott Moretti, 42, of 5111 E. Viola Road, Austintown, with breaking and entering and Timothy Howard, 39, of 660 N. Four Mile Run Road, for breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools after a breaking-in at the former Jalco, 534 N. Meridian Road.

Fraud: An unauthorized charge was made to a bank account at a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Breaking and entering: A garage was broken into in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue and a nail gun and wire were taken.

Theft: A ladder was stolen from the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Dec. 6

Fraud: A total of $988 in unauthorized charges were made to a bank account at home in the 2000 block of Whispering Pines.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Julie Lay, 38, of 549 Evergreen Ave., Youngstown, with criminal trespassing in the parking lot at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipes were taken from a home along with other items in the 10 block of Howard Avenue.

Theft: A 2003 box trailer was stolen from the parking lot at Ohio Gymnastics, 5701 W. Webb Road.

Menacing: A 15-year-old female threatened a 17-year-old female in a dispute over a boy at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Aggravated robbery: Miscellaneous items were stolen from a Pontiac Grand Am in the parking lot of the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive. The owner of the car found a man in the driver’s seat of his car, and when the man fled, the owner gave chase but was stopped when the man pointed his hand in his pocket at him and threatened he had a gun.

Dec. 7

Warrant: James Durkin, 44, of 5202 Oakcrest Ave., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: Cash was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.

Theft: Two males stole a PSP Playstation at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A total of $7,000 was withdrawn from a victim’s account at Briarfield at Ashley Circle, 5291 Ashley Circle.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a truck driver while he was sleeping at the TA Travel Center.

Theft: Bedding was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Kerrybrook Drive.

Burglary: A flat-screen television was stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Dec. 8

Aggravated menacing: A female threatened to have the victim’s legs broken at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A wallet was taken from a truck while the driver slept at Club 76.

Domestic violence: A juvenile male was taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center for domestic violence at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: Fifty gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from an auto at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.

Burglary: Computers, jewelry and gift cards were stolen from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Robbery: Police charged Richard Macklin, 18, of 88 E. Chalmers Ave., Youngstown, with robbery for a purse snatching at Trax Lounge, 4250 New Road.

Theft: Truck brake drums were stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Brian Bees, Jr., 24, of 496 S. Raccoon Road, No. F37, on a warrant for theft.

Theft: Fuel was stolen from an auto at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A UPS delivery was taken from a front porch at a home in the 6000 block of Ridgeview Drive.

Drug offense: Jaycen Leapline, 33, of 57 Morningside Drive, Niles was issued a summons for possession of a bulk amount of marijuana.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Benjamin Diaz, 30, of 4336 Helena Ave., Youngstown, for drug abuse of marijuana.

Assault: A female was choked by a female neighbor at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Police charged George Thompson III, 18, of 146 N. Main St., with theft and possession of criminal tools, and on warrants for drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, and Tamron Smith Jr., 21, of 1005 Compass West, No. 12, for theft and possession of criminal tools after a theft from an auto in the 80 block of North Raccoon Road.

Theft: A debit card was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.

Attempted burglary: Damage to a door frame was reported at a home in the 5000 block of Vassar Avenue.

Theft: A vehicle shroud was stolen from an auto at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card at a home in the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.

Possible forgery: A male suspect attempted to cash a $1,400 check at Farmer’s National Bank, 22 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: A victim applied for a loan and sent in six months worth of payments, but never received the loan at a home in the 10 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Eric Pyatt, 21, of 4520 E. Webb Road, for theft of an 88-cent container of pills at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was shot by a BB gun at Silica Road near Victoria Road.

Dec. 10

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Kory Rodriguez, 23, of 158 S. Osborn Ave., Youngstown, for drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: An unlocked vehicle was entered and a checkbook, boots and other items were taken at the Babylon, 114 Javitt Court.

Telecommunications harassment: A suspect is accused in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 3000 block of New Road.

Theft: A plastic baby Jesus was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Assault: A man was assaulted by a woman and an unknown male at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Longino Roman Jr., 30, of 4474 W. Oakland Ave., Newton Falls, on a warrant for failure to appear on an aggravated menacing charge.

Drug offense: Police issued Ryan Lowe,22, of 500 Murray Hill, Liberty, a summons for drug abuse of marijuana.

Dec. 11

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Nicholas Monrean, 22, of 1330 Francis, Warren, for drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and to Kara Lightner, 19, of 213 E. Main St., Cortland, for drug abuse of marijuana.

Recovered property: A Ruger .380 with a holster and a loaded magazine was recovered at Buffalo Wild Wings, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A basement window and two screens were damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.

Theft: Two penguin figures were stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A total of $700 was stolen from a wallet at a home in the 4000 block of Selkirk Avenue.

Weapons: A 9mm was accidentally discharged and fired through a neighbor’s living-room wall, photo and couch in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Police charged Sean Peterson, 22, of 403 Cherry St., Kent, with the theft of a $99.98 cellphone at Walmart. Dec. 12

Theft: A purse was taken from a shopping cart at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: A suspect was sending text messages to an apartment in the 30 block of N. Yorkshire Boulevard.

Breaking and entering: A computer was taken at Fisher Bord, 3650 Connecticut Ave.

Theft: A woman’s wallet was taken from her purse at Valley Care, 20 Ohltown Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at Valley Care, 20 Ohltown Road.

Dec. 13

Warrant: Anthony Shaffer, 24, of 4405 Plumbrook Drive, Canfield was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge at the Deer Creek Apartments, 4415 Kirk Road.

Fraud: $161.62 was charged on an adult website without authorization at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.

Theft: A car battery, cables and pipes were stolen from a car at Jordan Auto Sales, 1209 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Steaks were stolen at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave. The suspect fled on foot.

Property damage: Holes were shot in a neighbor’s house by a 12-year-old in the 2000 block of S. Turner Road.

Dec. 14

Theft: A Chevrolet tailgate was stolen from an auto at Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Fraud was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted telephone calls were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Argonne Drive.

Burglary: No forced entry was made in a burglary at an apartment at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was spray painted in the 90 block of Edgewater Drive.

Domestic violence: A 15-year-old male juvenile was placed in the Juvenile Justice Center after an incident at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Identity theft: Cellphone information was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A GPS and currency were taken from an auto at home in the 3000 block of Canfield Road.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 200 block of S. Main St.

Criminal trespassing: Chad Kimble, 29, of 1600 Motor Inn Drive, Youngstown was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Theft by deception: A sham was reported at a home in the 50 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Dec. 16

Felonious assault: A male was hit in the face with a brick or rock by an unknown person in the parking lot in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A wallet, GPS and camera were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Dec. 17

Warrant: Jesse Tierney, 26, of 2584 Naydne Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for criminal damaging.

Drug offense: Minford Sponaggle, 51, of 3820 Mahoning Ave., was arrested on charges of open container, and possession of drug paraphernalia and 19 marijuana cigarettes.

Fraud: $1,593 was sent to London, England, for a “Secret Shopper” scam at a home in the 40 block of E. Liberty Street.

Burglary: A gas range was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Menacing: Threatening text messages were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Old Farm Trail.

Theft: Ethan Carnahan, 18, of 3390 Allendale Ave., Youngstown was arrested for theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: An attached garage was forcibly entered and a 2011 Harley was stolen at a home in the 2000 block of Birch Trace Drive.

Dec. 18

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at the Wedgwood Plaza, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Valerie Jack, 47, of 653 N. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown was arrested in the theft of $71.88 in food at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated menacing: A suspect was making threats at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: Electronics and liquor were taken from an apartment in the 20 block of N. Wickliffe Circle.

Theft: A male pushed a cart out of Walmart containing groceries.

Theft: Dermond Boudrey, 31, of 1467 Victoria Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for theft at Walmart.
