Woman who posed as teen boy back in Ohio jail

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — A woman who prosecutors said pretended to be a boy to pursue a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old Ohio girl has been returned to the state from California on a charge of failing to report her address change.

The sheriff’s office in southwest Ohio’s Butler County said today that 32-year-old Patricia Dye is jailed in Hamilton.

Dye was convicted in 2010 of contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child, sexual imposition and attempted sexual imposition. She served six months in jail and had to register as a sex offender.

Authorities say Dye registered in Ohio last December but then moved without providing her new address. She was arrested this month in Orick, Calif.
