General Electric plans upgrades at Grove City, Pa., facilities

GROVE CITY, Pa. — General Electric Co. will invest $72 million in a diesel engine plant and to upgrade another facility here.

The company said the project will maintain 100 jobs and add 150 more by 2013.

Approximately $35 million will go toward a diesel engine plant. Another $37 million will improve an already standing plant, upgrading technology and increasing productivity.
