2012-13 scholarship available to women

YOUNGSTOWN

Catholic Collegiate Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship to be used in the academic year 2012/2013 at any college or university.

Applicants must be Catholic women in good standing with a university; must provide a recent transcript showing a 3.0 GPA or higher; and must have successfully completed one year of college. Letters of recommendation from her pastor and academic adviser or professor, and a short essay describing why she should be awarded the scholarship also are required.

The deadline for scholarship applications is March 23, 2012.
