Adriane Susanne Blewitt and Joseph Edward Wilson, both of Irmo, S.C., were united in marriage Nov. 19 at St. Charles Church. The afternoon ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Philip Rogers and Dr. Don Rinehart.

Before leaving on a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple received congratulations at a reception in their honor at Youngstown Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Rae Blewitt of Boardman and the late Frederick Blewitt.

The groom is the son of Jean Wilson of Anderson, S.C., and the late Elmer Wilson.

The bride’s satin strapless trumpet-style gown was styled with a sweetheart neckline and semicathedral train. Beaded lace embellished the dropped-waist bodice, satin belt and hemline. She wore a cathedral-length veil fashioned by her mother.

The color chosen for the bridal attendants was eggplant. Samantha Mileto was her sister’s matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Laura Blewitt, the bride’s cousin, and Cherie Khumprakob, Jamie Rinnert and Kelly Niklason. The flower girl was Natalie Atkins.

Mark Miller performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Pasada Khumprakob, Aaron Lucas, Adam Howell and Shawn Peeples. Serving as ushers were Nicholas Mileto, the bride’s brother-in-law, and Benjamin Blewitt, her cousin.

The bride graduated from Ashland University with a degree in physical education and health. She is a coach and professional athlete at Athlete’s Arena in Irmo.

Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Furman University with a degree in health and exercise science. He is the owner of Delaney’s Management Group in Columbia, S.C.

The couple are making their home in Irmo.
