Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks at 9:30, bingo at 10 and lunch at 11:30; Tuesday, computer practice at 9:30 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and Zumba at 10, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; Wednesday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; Thursday, Yoga at 9:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30, and bingo, November/December birthday celebration and a 50-50 raffle, all at noon; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, lunch at 11:30 and beginner’s computer at noon. Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer guardianship program of the Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. The next monthly meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 4 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 1953 Niles Cortland Road SE. The angels reach out in friendship to people in Trumbull County who are elderly and alone by providing trained, qualified volunteers to serve as advocates. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, needlecraft at 8:30 a.m. and bridge and movie matinee at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, bridge for beginners and exercises at noon, and digital class and bingo at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, Austintown Fun Day at 10 a.m., watercolor class at 10, tap class at noon and tai chi at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercise at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; Friday, Wii bowling at 10, card games at noon and cornhole at 2 p.m.

Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program is offering a review of driving skills and techniques and strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Liberty Administration Building, 1315 Churchill-Hubbard Road.
