CANTON

Police in northeast Ohio say a body was found at a park near a memorial honoring former President William McKinley.

The body was discovered Saturday in a driveway between the McKinley Monument and the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.

A park visitor said he spotted the body early Saturday morning, and authorities told him it was that of a woman. No further information about the body was released.

Police examined a car parked about 20 yards from the body, but it wasn’t clear whether the two were connected.
