YMHA workers robbed

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are looking for the lone gunman responsible for robbing two men working on Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority property on Burlington Avenue.

According to police, the 55-year-old and 25-year-old men, both from Stow, were working on the property just before 2 p.m. Thursday when they noticed a man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and black jogging pants hanging around the area. One of the men noticed the man was carrying a gun.

The man fired a shot into the air and ordered the two workers to get on the ground. He ran off with the men’s cash, credit cards, identification and cellphones.
