The marriage of Jamie Serenko of Boardman and Joseph Fairley of Butler, Pa., was solemnized Oct. 22 by Monsignor David W. Rhodes at St. Christine Church.

A reception for the couple took place at the Palermo Banquet Center in Campbell after the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gene and Laurie Serenko of Boardman, and the groom’s parents are Scott and Rosanne Fairley of Beaver Falls, Pa.

The bride wore an asymmetrically ruched diamond-white satin gown featuring a single shoulder neckline encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

The bridal attendants, attired in dark chocolate-colored dresses, were Rachel Serenko, who attended her sister as maid of honor, and the bridesmaids, Lauren Sirak; Mary Fairley and Rachael Fairley, sisters of the groom; Catherine Ruminski, Carolyn Serenko and Kara McNamee, all cousins of the bride; Mary Hancock; Megan Turk; and Amanda McCormick. Flower girls were Charlotte Suschinsky and Gemma Persichetti, both cousins of the bride.

The duties of best man were performed by Michael Ginand. Groomsmen were Joe Kittner; Sean Wyatt; Christopher Mederac, Tyler Fairley and Nick Eckhardt, all cousins of the groom; Ben Schaefer; Paul McFeely; Tyrell Jackson; and Mike Bokros. Serving as ushers were Tom Ruminski, the bride’s cousin, and Eric Fender. The ring bearer was Ashur Hively, another cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Fairley has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Mount Union. She is a physician assistant for Psych-Med Associates in New Castle, Pa.

Mr. Fairley graduated from Baldwin-Wallace with a bachelor’s degree in physics and chemistry. He is a diamond-turning engineer at II-VI Inc. in Saxonburg, Pa.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple are living in Butler.
