At least 3 hurt in I-680 crash

Rush hour traffic on Interstate 680 was snarled after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday.

The accident, which happened shortly after 5 p.m. left two cars disabled in the southbound lane and one vehicle in the northbound lane just north of the U.S. Route 224 exit.

At least three people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
