Annual K. of C. banquet takes place

Hall of Fame inductees: The annual Hall of Fame Banquet of the Greater Youngstown Area Chapter of the Knights of Columbus took place recently at St. George Lodge on Vestal Road in Youngstown. Among the honorees were two members of Girard Council 2935. Tom Gaul, left, was inducted for the year 2011. Gaul is president of the council home company, a trustee in the Third and Fourth degrees and caretaker of the council hall; handles hall rentals; and performs with the honor guard. Mike Norton, right, was inducted for the year 2011 and chosen as class honoree in the Third Degree. Norton is grand knight of Council 2935, membership and veterans director, pilot for the Fourth degree, recording secretary for the home company and vice president of the Greater Youngstown Area Chapter; performs with the honor guard; and serves on the board of directors of the President Charity Foundation.
