Kara Opritza to be bride of Corey Miller

CANFIELD

The parents of Kara Lynn Opritza of Mentor, Ohio, are announcing the engagement of their daughter to Corey Edward Miller of Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dennis and Connie Opritza of Canfield. The prospective groom is the son of Chuck and Cherie Miller of Sandusky, Ohio.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s May 19 wedding at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church in Warren and for an evening reception at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

Miss Opritza is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She is a material safety data sheet author at Ferro Corp. in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Mr. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy from the University of Toledo and a master’s degree in social science administration from Case Western Reserve University. He is a probation officer for the U.S. District Court in Knoxville.
