Mount Union used a 14-2 run to open the second half to win at the Daytona Beach Shootout in Florida. Senior guard Kori Wiedt made 7-of-13 shots, including five three-pointers, on her way to a game-high 19 points to lead the Purple Raiders (8-1) to their fourth win in a row. Mount Union freshman Aly Daniel (Willard/Willard) had eight of her season-high 12 points in the second half.
Slippery Rock 66, Charleston 52
SLIPPERY ROCK, PA.
Slippery Rock (2-7) snapped a six-game losing streak and placed three players in double figures, led by a game-high 19 point effort from Danielle Smith, who also finished with six rebounds, two steals and two assists. Jasmine Cooper had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Erinne Cunningham also added 17 points and six rebounds. Paris Thomas handed out a game-high nine assists. Charleston (4-5) was led by a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds from Erika Rousculp.
Bethany 63, Milwaukee SOE 61
NASSAU, BAHAMAS
Milwaukee School of Engineering had two chances to tie the game in the final three seconds, but missed two foul shots and a jumper, allowing Bethany (6-4) to escape in the first of two games at the Bahamas Sunshine Shootout. Katelynn Hackathorn, Renee Shepherd and Taylor Verrico all tallied 12 points in the winning effort. For the Raiders (6-3), Carol Cayo recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Waynesburg 58, Hiram 54
WAYNESBURG, PA.
Waynesburg (8-2) had three players score in double figures led by the duo of Paige Pearce and Hannah Hunter with 15 points each. Hiram (4-5) was led by senior guard Kelsey Durichko with 14 points. The Terriers were down one, 52-51, with 1:10 left but Waynesburg sealed the win at the free throw line.

Chestnut Hill 66, Slippery Rock 61
SLIPPERY ROCK, PA.
Chestnut Hill outscored Slippery Rock 16-4 in the final five and a half minutes to hand The Rock (5-4) their third loss in the last five games. Dan Comas scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds for the Golden Eagles (10-4). Mark DiRugeris Jr. added 17 points and Alssene Sanitilus chipped in 12 points. Senior forward Devin Taylor had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead The Rock.
