Ohio’s pump prices fall by 15 cents
YOUNGSTOWN
Ohio motorists have an early holiday gift at the gas pump: prices that are down 15 cents from last week.
A survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts the statewide average price for regular gasoline at $3.13 a gallon, compared with $3.28 last Monday.
Regular is now more than $1 below Ohio’s all-time high of $4.16 per gallon reached back in May, but still costs 19 cents more than it did last year at this time.
In the Mahoning Valley, gas is slightly above the statewide average at $3.15 a gallon. That’s down about 8 cents from last week.
Crude oil has fallen from above $100 earlier this month on growing fears that a debt crisis in Europe will trigger a recession there that will weaken global demand for fuel.

Toledo eatery will get a new owner
TOLEDO
A hot-dog eatery made famous on TV’s “M*A*S*H” is getting a new owner.
A judge has signed off on a deal transferring ownership of Tony Packo’s Inc. to a private restaurant group in Toledo. The decision, announced Monday, comes days after the founder’s grandson was charged with stealing from the family business, where he’s poised to play a major role in the new ownership.
An attorney for the new owners says the accusations won’t affect their plan.
