Superintendent of Fairhaven School and workshops in Trumbull to retire

NILES — Douglas A. Burkhardt, superintendent of the Fairhaven School and its workskhops, will retire effective Feb. 29, and will be replaced by Edward J. Stark.

Members of the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities, were expected to approve a resolution tonight releasing Burkhardt from his employment contract and another resolution hiring Stark, who is assistant superintendent for adult services.
