Christina Shaerban of Brook Park, Ohio, and Joshua Arundel of Youngstown were married Sept. 10 at St. Maron Church. The Rev. Peter Karim performed the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple received congratulations at an evening reception at the Holiday Inn in Independence, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Gladys Shaerban of Brook Park, and the groom is the son of Tom and Cindi Arundel of Girard.

The bride wore a strapless, trumpet-style gown featuring a beaded bodice and a Tiffany-style train.

Attending the bride as matrons of honor were Jenny Profant, sister of the bride, and Mandy Steyer. Bridesmaids were Carrie Conley, Marina Marinova, Jessica Ketvertis, Lori Madi, Jenna Tucci and Jacquie Moncrief ,who all wore black knee-length dresses. Ava Arundel, the groom’s godchild, was flower girl.

Sharing the duties of best man were Tom Arundel, the groom’s brother, and Nicholas Frasco. Groomsmen were Joe Alexander, Ryan LaCivita, Bryan Rauzen, John Pascarella, Breen McNally, Steve Davis, Patrick O’Leary, Ted Whitaker and Michael George. Serving as ushers were Matt DeVicchio and Jimmy Fleming.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree at Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s degree in journalism at DePaul University. She is a news anchor and reporter at WTOL News in Toledo.

The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree, and from Cleveland State University with a master’s degree in business administration. He is a credit analyst at Huntington Bank in Toledo.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay in Jamaica, the couple are making their home in Rossford, Ohio.
